Security GrilleSliding security grilles
These grilles, also termed retractable security grilles, are becoming increasingly popular. This is particularly so for the office developments around Manchester and Salford. Retractable security grilles make premises secure, require minimal fixing space, minimal maintenance and are aesthetically pleasing. They are welcomed by local authority planners and, critically, the security grilles that IDC fit are approved by the insurance companies.
Window GrilleRetractable window grilles
Window grilles deter unwanted intrusion whilst letting in light and allowing external views. Stacking to around 15% of the overall grille, they are unobtrusive when withdrawn.
Sliding grilles are normally fitted internally. As a permanent security measure we also fit fixed external window grilles in a variety of pleasing designs.
BAR grilles 
Bar grilles are light and easy to operate. They are attractive in appearance yet afford a high level of internal security for pubs, clubs and restaurants.

Our steel personnel doors offer far higher security than wooden doors and are much more resilient.

Cost comparison - £600 for a timber door, our high security steel doors start at £650.

Options include:

• High security locking system.
• Intercom system can be incorporated.
• The steel door can be made to fire rating specification.

Disability Discrimination Act compliance.
From early 2004, compliance with the DDA requires a minimum 925mm opening when the door is in the open position. Many standard fire doors already fitted are only 900mm.

Our standard structural opening size is 1115mm to ensure compliance with the legislation. Our service also covers alteration of structural opening / brickwork, at extra cost.
